Project Helping Hands (PHH) aimed to gain support for the American Enterprise System from business professionals and students through various outreach events and workshops.
Working with the youth to teach them skills such as entrepreneurship and financial
literacy, PHH held several financial hackathons, challenging students to develop
community programs alleviating a specific community issue.
PHH featured 180
workshop and competition participants and over 29 sponsors.
It gained recognition from local and state government, including Candace Andersen, the Contra Costa County District II Supervisor, and Brandon Bratcher, a legislative assistant at the California State Assembly.
Project Helping Hands was awarded First Place at FBLA Nationals 2019 in San Antonio for best American Enterprise Project, winning the Edward D. Miller award.
